Pursuant to the Maryland Public Information Act, I respectfully request copies of the following records related to transportation changes affecting Bellows Spring Elementary School and the removal of bus service from neighborhoods including Manchester Way and the surrounding area.
All documents, reports, analyses, studies, memoranda, presentations, spreadsheets, maps, GIS analyses, or other records used to determine student transportation eligibility and walking status for students residing in the Manchester Way, Wesley Lane, Stratford Community Park, and surrounding Bellows Spring Elementary attendance areas.
All records showing the methodology used to calculate distances for transportation eligibility, including whether distances were measured using straight-line calculations, GIS mapping, walking routes, or any other method.
Any safety assessments, traffic studies, pedestrian analyses, route evaluations, or risk assessments conducted in connection with transportation changes affecting Bellows Spring Elementary students.
All records showing projected cost savings, budget analyses, financial justifications, or fiscal impact assessments used to support the transportation changes.
Ridership data, occupancy reports, capacity analyses, or utilization reports for bus routes serving Bellows Spring Elementary School for the 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 school years.
Any records discussing the addition of crossing guards, crosswalk improvements, pedestrian accommodations, or other safety measures implemented in connection with transportation changes.
All internal communications, emails, memoranda, meeting notes, presentations, or correspondence discussing:
Removal of transportation service from affected neighborhoods;
