The algorithm that high schools in Howard County uses to schedule the courses requested by students are not transparent. Some students get the courses they requested but some do not. Please make information about how the course scheduling algorithm works publicly available as much as possible. If the Howard County Public School System does not know the exact algorithm used by the high schools, please provide further information about the contractor / company that designs this algorithm. Also, provide the point of contact in this company so that any inquiries about the course scheduling algorithm can be addressed to a person in charge.
