I am requesting the number of general education students entering grades K-6 who submitted their preference for the 2021/2022 Digital Education Center (DEC) by the required deadline that were denied acceptance to the DEC.

Responsive to this request, staff indicates of the interest applications received by the May deadline, 624 were from K-6 general education students - not including students with an IEP - and none of those were denied acceptance. Students/families were, however, able to remove themselves from consideration during enrollment confirmation.
