Response Notes

Responsive to this request, we have previously released various records regarding the hiring of the Boundary Review Consultants, all of which are most recently referenced (including payments) under MPIA 2020-127: https://mpia.hcpss.org/requests/2020-127. Additional payment records since that time are included below.

Additionally, per clarification indicating you are seeking what “plans were given by the consultants to the BOE for consideration leading up to Dr. Matirano's plan for redistricting,” previous MPIA responses included communications between the Consultant and Board members or Board office staff between the date range of December 1, 2018, through September 17, 2019 where any participant had an @coopstrategies.com extension – you can see those results here: https://mpia.hcpss.org/sites/default/files/2019-10/MPIA%202020-100%20Responsive%20Docs%20SEARCH%20A.pdf. Records released under MPIA requests specific to the Superintendent’s plan and the consultant include prior versions of a chart in the plan/recommendations and related communications: https://mpia.hcpss.org/requests/2020-137 as well as records of meetings between the Superintendent and consultant leading up to the presentation of the plan: https://mpia.hcpss.org/sites/default/files/2019-10/MPIA%202020-119%20Responsive%20Docs%20A.pdf. Additional clarification would be needed to further identify records sought.
