Requested Information
The Department of Special Education (DSE) has written that they have sought information from the community on rates for tutors and speech-language pathologists determining rates not to exceed $72 per hour for the academic services and $132 per hour for speech-language therapy. I am seeking the documents used to gather these rates including any and all emails, letters, and related correspondence sent from DSE staff and community providers. Additionally, I am seeking any and all documents related to the determination and provision of COVID recovery services including but not limited to internal memos, correspondence, professional development, and training documents between the DSE staff and school staff such as instructional team leaders (ITLS), special educations teachers, and related services providers.
