Response Notes

Responsive to this request, the Boundary Review Feedback for Superintendent and the Alternative Boundary Option Submission for Superintendent surveys are currently in progress with an expected completion date of August 1, 2019. The results will be used to inform the Superintendent’s recommendation to the Board of Education. In an effort to reduce bias in responses, the consultants and School Planning intend to release a report of final results after all responses are collected and reviewed in early August. As such, under MPIA GP § 4-346 which allows a custodian to withhold the specific details of an ongoing research project conducted by a government agency, we are denying access to the responses collected thus far.

Thank you for your interest in the 2020-2021 School Planning Boundary Review. For questions about the process, please see the boundary review frequently asked questions page or contact the Office of School Planning at 410-313-7184 or SchoolPlanning@hcpss.org. Feedback is also being accepted via survey and in-person at community input sessions

*Some request language is summarized to include the requester's specific document requests and legally protected information (such as personally identifiable information of a student) or personal, defamatory and malicious content removed at the discretion of the school system.
