Of those positions filled, Human Resources staff indicates the total number of teacher applications was 5,894 during this reporting period. Of those applicants, 609 were for Special Education positions. Please note, an applicant may apply for more than one position and the same person may be counted twice in an application pool. HCPSS has made substantial efforts to ensure the accuracy of this information; however, data collection and reporting is consistently subject to change. Requested Information
The Human Resources 2019 annual report lists the number hired and the number of applications submitted for many positions. However, that information is not provided for teachers. I am requesting the number of general education teachers and the number of special education teachers hired along with the number of applications submitted over the same time period as was listed in the 2019 report.
