I’d like to request the demographic information on HCPSS special education students (as an aggregate), both by racial and socioeconomic (FARMs) distribution. Is this student group reflective of the student population as a whole?

Responsive to this request, please find attached counts of all students within HCPSS who are actively enrolled and have an active IEP or 504 as of April 15, 2020. HCPSS has made substantial efforts to ensure the accuracy of this information; however, data collection and reporting is consistently subject to change. Please be mindful when comparing data as many variances can occur between reports based on date pulled, parameters used, categories included, etc. For reference, FARMs and demographics for the whole student population can be found in various publically available records, such as the Maryland Report Card: https://reportcard.msde.maryland.gov/Graphs/#/Demographics/Enrollment/3//6/13/XXXX.
