Of those positions filled (since the prior MPIA for 2019), our application vendor indicates the total number of teacher applications was 3,009 during the reporting period of October 2019 to October 2020 for the 2020 chart. Of those applicants, 435 were for Special Education positions. During the reporting period of October 2020 to October 2021 for the 2021 chart, our application vendor indicates the total number of teacher applications was 2,705. Of those applicants, 369 were for Special Education positions. Please note, an applicant may apply for more than one position and the same person may be counted twice in an application pool.
