I would like to request all publicly available records of 2025-2026 school bus drivers for HCPSS including their names, pay rates, and the bus service that employs them/contracts with them.

Responsive to this request, please find attached a list containing active bus driver and attendant names. As these drivers are employed through contracted bus services, the HCPSS Transportation Office does not maintain a list of names beyond this required report for the Maryland State Department of Education. Under MPIA GP § 4-330, we have removed sociological information where it contained social security numbers and has the potential to pose a risk to individual safety or privacy. Under the MPIA process, and as advised in the Nineteenth Edition of the Maryland Public Information Act Manual created by Maryland’s Office of the Attorney General, an agency is only obligated to produce existing records and has no obligation to create records to satisfy a PIA request.
