Requested Information
This request is intended to permit comparison with my pending MPIA request concerning the Black Student Achievement Program (Request #2027-063). Please use the same definitions, school-year periods, demographic categories, and reporting format where comparable records exist.
I request electronic records for school years 2021–22 through 2025–26 concerning the Hispanic Achievement Program (HAP), including its student programs, Parent Academy, family workshops, youth leadership activities, extended-learning opportunities, and other HAP-funded or HAP-administered initiatives.
Specifically, I request:
1. A list and description of each HAP program or activity offered during each school year, including its intended population, eligibility requirements, operating location, capacity, and administering office.
2. Application, acceptance, waitlist, enrollment, attendance, and completion counts for each program or activity, disaggregated by race/ethnicity, grade, home school, gender, economic-disadvantage status, multilingual-learner status, and special-education status, where maintained. For family programs, please provide available participant demographic and student-association data in aggregate form.
3. Eligibility, admission, referral, priority-enrollment, selection, lottery, and waitlist policies or procedures for each HAP program or activity. If participation was not application-based, please provide records describing how participants were identified, referred, invited, or enrolled.
4. Recruitment and promotional materials and records identifying the schools, populations, and communication channels through which HAP opportunities were advertised or participants were recruited.
5. Program evaluations, outcome reports, performance measures, and analyses addressing participant demographics, academic performance, family engagement, program effectiveness, or alignment with HAP’s stated target population.
6. Records identifying the number and school assignments of HAP-funded central-office staff and school-based liaisons for each requested year, along with documents describing their responsibilities and criteria used to determine liaison placement.
7. Approved annual budgets or expenditure summaries identifying funding allocated to HAP and its component programs for each requested school year.
Please provide existing records electronically. I am not requesting personally identifiable student or family information. Aggregate data may include appropriate privacy suppression. If a requested data category is not collected or maintained, please identify that category as unavailable rather than omitting it without explanation.
