Subject: MPIA Request for Information on Contracts and Curriculum Resources
Pursuant to the Maryland Public Information Act, General Provisions Article ยงยง 4-101 to 4-601, I am requesting access to records pertaining to the Howard County Public School System's contracts and curriculum resources. Specifically, I am requesting the following information:
1. Whether the Howard County Public School System currently has, or has ever had, a contract with the group known as the Institute for Curriculum Services (ICS). Please provide any related documents, contracts, and communications.
2. A detailed list of the resources, materials, and methodologies employed by the Howard County Public School System to develop curriculum on the history of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. This includes textbooks, digital resources, lesson plans, and any external consultants or organizations involved in the curriculum development process.
