I am requesting estimates of student enrollment at each Howard County public elementary school for the 2020-2021 school year and each school's teacher allocations (including homeroom teachers, related arts teachers, GT enrichment teachers, special educators, and paras) when completed.

Responsive to this request, in addition to the record provided below, staffing allocations for the SY21 have yet to be developed by the School Management and Instructional Leadership team as those are subject to various factors in addition to school projections, such as final 2021 budgets. Please note, under the MPIA process, and as advised in the Fourteenth Edition of the Maryland Public Information Act Manual created by Maryland’s Office of the Attorney General, an agency is only obligated to produce existing records and is not “required to commit itself to provide records that have not yet been created.”

Responsive to this request, please find attached the current enrollment projections per school for next year. While this data is currently being utilized for the purposes of estimating staff and resource needs, please note it is subject to change until the final enrollment projection is completed by the Office of School Planning in June with the 2020 Feasibility Study.
