This is a request under the Maryland Public Information Act, State Government Article §§10-611 to 628. Per this request, I wish to receive copies of all separation agreements between the Howard County School system and former deputy superintendent Linda Wise, Chief Accountability Officer Elizabeth Grace Chesney, Chief Financial Officer Beverly Davis and Communications Director John White.
The separation agreements should include details of all payouts and benefits to the former employees and any requirements for them to receive the money.

For former Deputy Superintendent Linda Wise, no such document exists. Regarding the remaining individuals, we are denying inspection of the documents per MPIA GP § 4-311, which states “a custodian shall deny inspection of a personnel record of an individual, including an application, a performance rating, or scholastic achievement information.” This category of required denials under the MPIA includes records related to hiring, discipline, promotion, dismissal, or any other matter involving an employee’s status.
