A neighbor of mine attended a HS13 redistricting focus group. The consultant showed her group a heat map of the dissatisfied responses to the different scenarios. Please provide these heat maps.

Responsive to this request, please find attached maps showing level of support or opposition for each of the four feasibility study scenarios. Please note, under MPIA GP § 4-330, which protects sociological information where it contains personal addresses and/or has the potential to pose a risk to individual privacy, as well as MPIA GP § 4-330, which protects details of a research project, and MPIA GP § 4-313, which prevents disclosure of school district records pertaining to individual students including those about the home address and family, we are unable to release pinpoint map identification of street/polygon/etc. submitted as part of the survey response. Maps included here show generalized location of responses with “hot spots” based on density of similar responses per square mile. Please note, however, the hotspot analysis only shows the dominant response for a given area. The darker the blue (positive responses) or red (negative responses), the greater the concentration of that response. Lighter shades may indicate a lower response rate or a mix of responses for that area.
