Responsive to this request, in regards to calls to 911 for Atholton High School, HCPSS does not track the number of calls to police by reason. Please note, under the MPIA process, and as advised in the Eighteenth Edition of the Maryland Public Information Act Manual created by Maryland’s Office of the Attorney General, an agency is only obligated to produce existing records and is not required to generate new data or summarize data. For reference, calls for service to the Howard County Police Department (HCPD) could be requested from HCPD as the custodian of such records if they have available. SROs are also employees of HCPD.
