Responsive to this request, while some route costs by school can be pulled dependent on the contract, they do not currently have a list of costs by schools for all transportation contracts for SY23-24. Specifically, Tip Top, Zum, and emergency or supplemental contracts did not utilize payments by route/school and would require manual creation of a new record to calculate such. Under the MPIA process, and as advised in the Eighteenth Edition of the Maryland Public Information Act Manual created by Maryland’s Office of the Attorney General, an agency is only obligated to produce existing records and is not required to generate new data or summarize data.
