Under the Maryland Public Information Act, I am requesting any HCPSS documents, policies, guidelines, or communications that address whether parents/guardians may override an HCPSS elementary school’s math placement decision when it differs from the school’s recommendation. This request pertains only to the elementary school level.

Please include any applicable Board of Education policies, HCPSS procedures, or internal guidance provided to staff on this issue, specifically at the elementary school level.
