Requested Information
A) I am requesting the following public information regarding the Howard County Board Of Education’s General Counsel position for which the board hired Dan Furman. Please provide the information in a digital format.

1) A list of where the position was advertised. For each different place the position was advertised, a list of dates (month, day, and year) when the advertisement appeared and the number of days the position opening was actively advertised.

2) Please provide a copy of the listing advertisement and 3) a copy of the written position description available at the time the position was first advertised.

B) Additionally, I am requesting the following public information regarding the interim and then acting superintendent position for which the board recently hired Dr. Michael J. Martirano.

1) A list of where the position was advertised. For each different place the position was advertised, a list of dates (month, day, and year) when the advertisement appeared and the number of days the position opening was actively advertised.

2) Please provide a copy of the listing advertisement and 3) a copy of the written position description available at the time the position was first advertised.

4) A list of individuals and organizations that gave information to or received information from Board of Education members, their staff, and/or their attorneys regarding the recruitment of someone for the Interim Superintendent position for which the board hired Dr. Michael J. Martirano.

5) The number of interim superintendent candidates interviewed by the Howard County Board of Education between December 1, 2016 and May 2, 2017.
