Available documents as used by our School Planning Office that include polygon level data only include enrollment by class year (juniors and sophomores) for the 2016-2017 school year – not the projected 2018-2019 year. For reference, projections for the 2018-2019 school year are available instead by school in the feasibility study http://www.hcpss.org/f/schoolplanning/2017-feasibility-study.pdf?a and by grade level (elementary, middle and high) per polygon within AAC meeting documents entitled Planning Polygon Comparison http://www.hcpss.org/school-planning/aac-process/.
Please note, under the MPIA process, and as advised in the Fourteenth Edition of the Maryland Public Information Act Manual created by Maryland’s Office of the Attorney General, an agency is only obligated to produce existing records and is not required to summarize existing data or program/generate new reports that are not already used in the normal course of business. Nor is an agency “required to commit itself to provide records that have not yet been created.”
