Please reinstate the original, inaccurate data contained in MPIA Request #2018-004. You may apply cautionary statements, amend it, edit it, submit a revision. A removal and a repost, without the original data standing for reference, is not transparent. It is opaque. In addition, what was the date of the original request? And on what date was the data removed?

This file contains inaccurate data, as noted on each page. In order to protect against potential disclosures of personally identifiable information about students when looking at polygon-level data where those who know the residents of a particular neighborhood may be able to deduce student-level information, HCPSS is following National Center for Education Statistics’ federal guidelines for protecting student privacy in public reporting. Under both the Family and Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA), which restricts access to student records, and MPIA GP § 4-313, which prevents disclosure of school district records pertaining to individual students, FARMs and academic testing data has been suppressed. Suppression * includes FARMs and academic testing numbers that fall below 10, those where a corollary relationship reveals numbers that fall below 10, as well as anything equal to or below 5% and anything equal to or above 95%. For academic testing both a 0 and blank indicates no testing took place.
