Requested Information
I am requesting a copy of the most recent open and closed charts as well as the charts from the prior five years HCPSS sent to the Department of Planning and to the County Council as described in Sec. 16.1103 - c3 of the county code, Adequate school facilities:

"Preparation and adoption of open/closed chart. The open/closed chart is designed to work in conjunction with the housing unit allocation chart in order to provide consistency and predictability in the planning process for schools. For that reason, the open/closed chart shall be revised for consistency concurrent with any amendments to the housing unit allocation chart. The Department of Planning and Zoning shall receive the open/closed chart, from the Department of Education. The open/closed chart shall be submitted to the County Council for adoption by resolution after a public hearing. Whenever the County Council adopts, amends, or updates the housing unit allocation chart, it shall concurrently adopt the open/closed chart."

Please include the dates on which HCPSS sent the charts as well.

The School Planning Office indicates Adequate Public Facilities Ordinance Charts as linked here are provided to the Howard County Department of Planning and Zoning following the Board’s approval, however they do not have records indicating the dates of the actual file transfers.
