From year 2000 to today, please provide for each year, the list and dollar amount of each capital budget requests for new school construction and school expansion projects that HCPSS/BoE has made to the County Council and County Executive and actual dollar amount received for those capital budget requests.

Response Notes

Board of Education (BOE) requested Capital Budgets as posted following annual February BOE budget meeting, and the approved Capital Budget as posted following annual May BOE budget adoption meeting – both of which include the local portion of the request/approval. These are available on BoardDocs (links below), more recently as individual reports and older versions as items within BOE meeting minutes.Each of the approved Capital Budgets back through 2008 can also be found together here: http://www.hcpss.org/about-us/budgets/budget-archive/#capital.

Requested and approved budget documents/attachments not included in the links above. Please note, for the FY2001 requested Capital Budget we have been unable to locate a final version, however the attached version from October 1999 is noted in the 2/22/00 meeting minutes with amendments as approved by the Board for their final request.
