GPAs can be different based on weighted or unweighted, core classes, electives, cohort considerations, etc. In essence, the grades that are included in any particular GPA are very specific to that individual student. For reference, there are several other standardized data points which all schools report to the Maryland State Department of Education on graduating classes, which are publically available through our website: http://www.hcpss.org/about-us/research-data-analysis/ as well as the MSDE Report Card website: http://reportcard.msde.maryland.gov/ that you may find useful.
Per discussions to narrow to non-disaggregated data on 12th grade GPAs by school, this includes all GPAs for 12th graders in school years 2012-2013 through 2016-2017 – cumulative unweighted GPA. The year column reflects the start of each school year, thus 2012 is for SY13, etc. HCPSS has made substantial efforts to ensure the accuracy of this information; however, data collection and reporting is consistently subject to change. Please be mindful when comparing data as many variances can occur between reports based on date pulled, parameters used, categories included, etc.
