Settlements, monetary or otherwise, paid out by Baltimore City Public Schools for any and all disputes to include, but not limited to, sexual assault/harassment, property, motor vehicle, utility, disability, employment, student/parent education disputes/claims over the last five years. Within this request, we are asking for relevant reports related to each dispute which would include, but not limited to, dispute type/description/date filed/date settled/parties involved/settlement details. We understand, and appreciate, the reports may need redacted to exclude personal/sensitive information.

Per discussions to provide readily available information which can be pulled/identified as a legal settlement, this contains payment documents from the current fiscal year when HCPSS began tagging such payments. Under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA), which restricts access to student records, and MPIA GP § 4-313, which prevents disclosure of school district records pertaining to individual students, we have redacted personally identifiable information that would reveal student information from the responsive records. Additionally, under MPIA GP § 4-330, we have redacted an address as sociological information shared by an individual citizen.
