Responsive to this request, there is no specific HCPSS budget category for race and poverty based programming.

Per discussions to identify Title I funding and expenditure reports - as programs which are based on poverty levels at the elementary level - these available excel sheets back through FY12 we located specifically for Title I budgets (allocations). Title I calculations and funding levels are annually reported to and approved by the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) as part of Maryland’s Bridge to Excellence in Public Schools Act. In terms of specific budgeting/expenditure of these funds, our Finance and Title I Offices indicate we do not currently have such records with school-by-school breakdowns.

Additional information about Title I funds and the way they are used by schools, including an overview of FY18 distributions by school and how they are used at the administrative level.
