Per policy 8040, please provide responsive documents showing the curriculum materials that were provided to the Board and Superintendent for review prior to the approval of the Black Lives Matter at School Week of Action resolution since curriculum was included in that proposal.

Responsive to this request, no curriculum – the prescribed elements of programs and courses which state clearly and specifically what students are expected to know and be able to do, how well they will be able to do it, how they will meet the learning objectives, and by what means they will be assessed – were submitted to the Board or Superintendent for review related to the resolution. Resources may have been used in classrooms during the Black Lives Matter at School Week of Action that would have been selected by teachers and other staff – not by the Board.
