I am writing to request information on the sum of fossil fuels consumed by Howard County Public School System in 2018:
Gallons of gasoline
Gallons of Diesel fuel
Gallons of #2 heating oil
Therms or CCF of natural gas
Kilowatt hours of electricity
Number of miles traveled by air by staff members on official business
Please include the gallons of petroleum fuels consumed by the fleet of contractor-operated buses.

Regarding your request for number of miles traveled by air by staff, our Finance Office indicates this information is not tracked as part of expense reports.

Please note, HCPSS reports the miles traveled by contractor-operated school busses in the attached report, however as non-HCPSS owned vehicles our staff does not convert to/track gas usage.
