In accordance with the Maryland Public Information Act and the Maryland Open Meetings Act, I am writing to formally request the Howard County Board of Education and any associated employees, officers, agents and contractors identify, retain and preserve all records related to interactions and/or discussions about school redistricting that took place outside of the public meeting at the Central Office located at 10910 Clarksville Pike, Ellicott City, MD 21042 on Thursday, November 21, 2019. This includes all handwritten, typed, electronic, audio and video records and recordings made by, of, or about Board Members or the topic of school redistricting that occurred outside of the public meeting between 6:00pm Eastern Time and 10:00 pm Eastern Time.
These recordings include but are not limited to security footage and any other means to record audio and/or video throughout the entire Central Office building, as well as Board Member notes, emails, texts, social media app or website messages, or other documentation regarding interactions and discussions that took place outside of the public meeting room.
