Responsive to this request, and per clarification to remove those messages sent to the full Board as well as those from schools/public information accounts, please find below all messages located to and from the Board members during the timeframe of the Board of Education meeting on June 10, 2020. Exemptions found within these records include:

  • Under MPIA GP § 4-330, we have redacted sociological information where it contains personal addresses or has the potential to pose a risk to individual safety or privacy.
  • Under MPIA GP § 4-338, which requires a custodian to deny inspection of information about the security of an IT system, we have redacted unique meeting identifiers such as login, ID and password information.
  • Under MPIA GP § 4-311 individual personnel records, including applications, are exempt from disclosure. This includes, as advised in the Fourteenth Edition of the Maryland Public Information Act Manual created by Maryland’s Office of the Attorney General, “information submitted by individuals seeking to serve on agency advisory committees.” As such, we have redacted information identifying interviewees for the HCPSS Ethics Panel.
