Under the Maryland Public Information Act, we formally request that your office provide us with the following public spending information:
Copies of documents, such as − but not limited to – Construction Notice to Proceed, Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP), project directories, contractor reporting forms, work orders, and the like that specify subcontractors and other salient points (noted below) for construction or renovation projects valued at $1,000,000 or more at Howard County Public School System. Please include information for both currently
active projects as well as those completed since March 1, 2021. We do not need every document that mentions subcontractors, just one for each subcontractor or set of subcontractors.
Specifically, we seek:
• Project Name
• Project number
• Projected completion date
• Prime/General Contractor name(s)
• Construction Manager (at Risk) name
• Architect/Engineer names
• Subcontractor names
Excel spreadsheets containing similar information are welcome.

Responsive to this request, using parameters discussed in prior years to identify projects, our September 23, 2021, response indicated our previous MPIA response in December of 2020: https://mpia.hcpss.org/requests/2021-152 contains information on the following construction projects that are still active at this time:
- Hammond HS Renovation and Addition
- HS13 New Construction
- Talbott Springs ES Replacement
Outside the above, our Office of School Construction does not have any additional projects currently active/completed since March 1, 2021, which are over $1,000,000. See attached below for maintenance projects. Please note, HCPSS contracts with the prime contractors directly and not subcontractors, therefore a list of subcontractors is not a bid requirement as they are added by the primes throughout the construction process.
