Responsive to this request, and per clarification this would be “a type of surety bond that serves as a statutory obligation requiring faithful performance, fidelity, and integrity of a public official’s duties to the public,” HCPSS is covered for Property and Casualty Insurance under Maryland Association Board of Education Group Insurance Pool - there is no policy number, but rather referenced by county. Please note, HCPSS has no separate policies purchased for specific individuals. Regarding those members on the Maryland State Board of Education, as they would not be covered by HCPSS insurance, our agency does not have records of their insurance carriers and coverages.
