I am requesting to either inspect or receive copies of Proof of the isolation (or purification) of COVID-19/SARS-CoV-2 virus, and any other variants of the virus, directly from a human specimen that has not been combined with any other source of genetic material, or contamination. The HCPSS Health Services Office should have this info. I have correspondence from the CDC, NIH and the US Health Department that their records do not indicate isolation of the virus, so hopefully you can provide me with this information.

Responsive to this request, and per clarification you are seeking "documentation of SARS-CoV-2 being isolated/purified, meaning, confirmation of the virus' existence. To isolate/purify a virus, you must not use Vero cells or any other culture method," our Health Services staff indicated after testing our staff relays to the Howard County Health Department, (a separate entity from HCPSS) you can find information on submitting an MPIA to them here (under Other Health Department Services): https://www.howardcountymd.gov/health.
