• Information on whether the District requires a contract to sell books to the District. We are being told there is a “board policy” that prevents us from selling to the District.
• Please provide any contracts, bid announcements, award tabulations for library books, classroom books, ebooks, audiobooks and educational software for the past 5 years.
• Please provide any information on how Howard Co PS advertises bid opportunities and how vendors are able to be alerted to procurement opportunities related to our commodities.
In addition – we are requesting copies of the board policies related to library book purchasing and indicate whether there is an exclusive contract or an approved vendor listing.
