I am writing to submit a formal request under the provisions of the Public Information Act (PIA), to obtain access to certain records held by your office. The requested records pertain to communications between Michael Martirano and his staff, particularly Brian Nevin (Director), James Fritz, and Bill Stolis of the Martirano transportation department, in connection with the contract awarded to Zum for transportation services in Howard County prior to and after the award of the said contract.
In accordance with the PIA, I am requesting the following records:
1. All communications (including but not limited to emails, memos, letters, notes, and meeting minutes) exchanged between Michael Martirano, Brian Nevin, James Fritz, Bill Stolis, and any other staff members under the Martirano transportation department, and representatives of Zum, prior to the award of the transportation services contract.
2. All communications (including but not limited to emails, memos, letters, notes, and meeting minutes) exchanged between Michael Martirano, Brian Nevin, James Fritz, Bill Stolis, and any other staff members under the Martirano transportation department, and representatives of Zum, subsequent to the award of the transportation services contract up to the present date.
3. All minutes of meetings attended by Michael Martirano, and or his transportation department, and representatives of Zum.
The specific timeframes for these requests are as follows:
For Request #1: Communications occurring before the award of the transportation services contract with Zum.
For Request #2: Communications occurring from the date of the award of the transportation services contract to the present date.
