Responsive to this request, the following records include terms of the Superintendent’s contracts since 2016 and are publicly available online:

Each of the above contains a section outlining the Superintendent’s confidential evaluation process. Unlike a generic template that may apply to multiple employees/positions, as specified in these contracts for employment, this particular process includes the collaboration of the Board of Education and the Superintendent to use an agreed-upon evaluation instrument and goals that are unique to the Superintendent. Thus, under MPIA GP § 4-311, which prevents disclosure of personnel records of an individual, we are denying release of formal criteria for evaluation of the HCPSS Superintendent.
