Responsive to this request, in addition to the staffing and IEP data reports provided below, while reporting similar to the census data below is not found in a State publication, a count of 2,033 students with 504s was pulled from HCPSS enrollment files as of the same date for consistency with the above.
HCPSS has made substantial efforts to ensure the accuracy of this information; however, data collection and reporting is consistently subject to change. Please be mindful when comparing data as many variances can occur between reports based on date pulled, parameters used, categories included, etc.

Current year occupational therapy positions can be found in the HCPSS budget document (scroll to the link at the bottom of this page) under program tabs 3320 (53 OT, 1 grant funded, 2 Assistant OT) and 3324 (11.5 OT, 1.5 grant funded). Our Human Resources Office indicates of those positions, 6.4 FTE OT positions are currently unfilled.
This statewide publication broken down by county shows the number of students with IEPs as of September 2022, which would have been the official statewide count that informed needed positions for the FY24 HCPSS Operating Budget.
