Any and all documents whether paper or electronic form from the Health Services offices to school nursing staff and/or IEP teams on guidance related to private duty nursing and/or nursing services in schools including but not limited to guidance memorandums, newsletters, technical assistance bulletins, process guides, and any other form or guidance related to decision-making processes from January 2021 to current.

Responsive to this request, for SY23-24 HCPSS Special Education tracked 18 students receiving private duty nursing including both those being paid for by the school system through IEPs and those paid by private family insurance. One to one nursing contract awards and budget information can be found in the records attached below.

The attached file contains available procedures, forms, and agreements used by HCPSS Health Services since 2021 for private duty nursing.
(see PC-123) This is a one year extension for the above contract for three companies. The contract scope includes the number of students estimated for the one year extension.
Discussions between staff and Board members regarding PC-130 leading up to the above report can be found in this document (starting on page 4).
One to one/private duty nursing lives under contracted services for budget program 3321 (page 423), however not further broken down by service type.
