I am writing to submit a public records request in accordance with Maryland’s Public Information Act. I am requesting information related to RFP Bid # 047.25.B6, specifically regarding the District’s beverage and snack vending services. Please provide the following records:
- The incumbent or most recently expired beverage and snack vending services contract(s).
- Total revenue generated for the ‘22-’23 and ‘23-’24 school years, as well as year-to-date (YTD), for all student-facing machines across all schools.
- Total commissions paid for the ‘22-’23 and ‘23-’24 school years, and YTD for all student-facing machines across all schools.
- The number and types of vending machines at each school level (i.e., 10 snack machines and 16 drink machines at high schools, 6 snack and 8 drink machines at middle schools, etc.).
Any donations, sponsorships, free products, or similar contributions provided to the District by the incumbent vendor(s).

No existing records were located for donations, sponsorships, free products, or similar contributions provided to the schools or HCPSS by the incumbent vendor. Additionally, we do not maintain lists or numbers of machines per year/school nor was this a requirement of the original solicitation. Below please find the total revenues and commissions since the start of this contract. Please note, information received from the vendor is not broken out by school year and references all vending machines and thus will not be broken down by “student-facing” machines or product type:
