Response Notes

Responsive to this request, in regard to staff injuries, worker’s compensation data on TRES staff who sought medical treatment (regardless of location where treatment was sought) for incidents that involved students reflects zero between SY2015 and SY2019.

Responsive Documents
Responsive to this request, existing data on counts of student conduct violations for “attack on student” during school years 2015 through 2019 at TRES are attached. Please note when comparing to current years, this data is based on office disciplinary referrals, however the counts also include incident reports starting in school year 2023-2024. Prior to that year violation codes in minor incident reports did not always align to “attack on students” in the HCPSS Student Code of Conduct. Therefore, data prior to school year 2023-2024 does not include incident report counts. HCPSS has made substantial efforts to ensure the accuracy of this information; however, data collection and reporting is consistently subject to change. Please be mindful when comparing data as many variances can occur between reports based on date pulled, parameters used, categories included, etc.

*Some request language is summarized to include the requester's specific document requests and legally protected information (such as personally identifiable information of a student) or personal, defamatory and malicious content removed at the discretion of the school system.

**Responses containing legally protected information available only to the person of interest are omitted from the above report.
