Under the Maryland Public Information Act Title 4, I am requesting an opportunity to inspect or obtain copies of the resumes or CVs on file for every current principal at each of the 78 schools in HCPSS.

Responsive to this request, under MPIA GP § 4-311, which states “a custodian shall deny inspection of a personnel record of an individual, including an application, a performance rating, or scholastic achievement information” we are unable to release the requested records for individual principals. Resumes in HCPSS’ possession are part of an individual employee’s personnel record collected with their application.
For your reference, while not a resume, educational and experience data on individual certificated staff are required to be reported to the Maryland State Department of Education. This file within a prior MPIA response contains data for all staff in the current school year, which could be sorted by position/title: https://mpia.hcpss.org/requests/2026-063.
