Any and all documents related to the HCPSS' position, regulations, and/or policies on who can view bus videos including but not limited to committee notes, agendas, Board documents, emails between transportation staff and the Department of Special Education staff, guidance documents, technical assistance documents distributed to staff, internal memos, and any and all guidance provided to staff including bus contractors.

Under this prior response staff provided available records containing information about parents and staff ability to view video surveillance captured in schools and on buses as of May 2023.
Since the above response, the attached document was provided to staff by the HCPSS General Counsel’s Office in September 2023.
The attached contains agenda items and discussions documented as part of regular meetings between HCPSS Department of Special Education and Transportation Offices since 2021 that dealt with the topic of viewing bus videos. Please note, while the topic of “nonpublic buses camera footage” was included as an agenda item on October 18, 2022, that meeting ultimately never took place.
