Response Notes
Responsive to this request, initially please note the Number Readiness Assessments were retitled as Grade Level Readiness Assessments around 2016. The original Number Readiness Assessments date back to about 2010. No record of how the Number Readiness/Grade Level Readiness and Major Works assessments differ exists.
Current grade 3 information about both the Major Works Assessments and Grade Level Readiness Assessments are communicated through the attached Grade 3 Mathematics Curriculum Course Essentials. Redactions are for links to internal documents that would require additional review to release, as well as links to actual assessments which would be confidential under MPIA GP ยง 4-345 as records of examination information for academic matters where release would be contrary to public interest. No additional training or direction is provided regarding Major Works assessments. They are provided as an optional tool to gather additional data for student placement/intervention as needed.
This is the document linked in the above assessment resource.
*Some request language is summarized to include the requester's

**Responses containing legally protected information available
only to the person of interest are omitted from the above
report.
