Please provide copies of any any guidance (in any form including (but not limited to) memoranda, slide sets, or broadcast e-mails) provided by HCPSS Section 504 and Student Services or any other Central Office personnel to school-based teams between August 1, 2024 and now regarding the inclusion of personal devices as assistive technology (cel phones, personal laptops, ipads or other tablets, headphones/earbuds, smart watches, mp3 players, and location trackers such as airtags or AngelSense) in IEPs, 504s, or health plans.

These slides include guidance provided to Instructional Team Leaders related to the cell phone policy.
This folder contains materials the Section 504 Office delivered to 504 team members to prepare for and support the policy rollout. Staff who received this training included: Section 504 Administrative Building Coordinators (administrators who are trained in Section 504), and Section 504 case managers including Alternative Education Teachers; School Counselors; School Nurses; and School Psychologists.
